James Haag | Manager AT Muse

 

Born and raised in Sarasota, James Haag has been in the restaurant industry ever since he started working. From food runner to server to bartender, James is now the Manager at Muse at the Ringling. Here is his story. 

 

 

 

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY?

Living in Sarasota, Florida, everyone knows about the Ringling Museum and the campus, finding out there was not one but two places to eat on campus just made me want to work there. Being able to see how happy people can be after dining with us and being able to walk the beautiful campus makes me smile.

 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THE Manager at Muse?

I’ve been in my current position and as Manager at Muse for about 5 months now and loving every moment of it. I started the first of the year January 1st.

 

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE HOSPITALITY FIELD?

I enjoy making every guest smile and knowing that they are leaving happy with the feeling that they are part of the restaurant family

 

WHAT would muse restaurant goers say about you?

I am ever knowledgeable about all the food we serve and also with the grounds that I work on, there is a lot to know about the Ringling Museum.  
 

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FORWARD TO AS A MEMBER OF THE TABLESEIDE TEAM?

I look forward to watching the company grow and being able to open new restaurants. My goals with the company is the eventually become the G.M. of a new concept with the program
 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TABLESEIDE RESTAURANT GROUP DISH?

My favorite TRG dish is the Griddle Burger with Bacon Jam.

 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MEAL that you love to prepare?

My favorite dish to prepare is actually pasta with vodka sauce and add chicken on top.

 

DO YOU HAVE ANY guilty pleasure MEALS?

If you say you have a good burger, I’m alway open to give it a shot.
